New to Yoga
From our own experience we know that joining a yoga class can be a daunting and intimidating prospect as a newcomer. You may think, "I am totally inflexible and won't be able to do certain postures", or ,"I will look silly as everyone is advanced and will be watching me."
However, it would be a mistake to think along those lines as yoga is all inclusive, non-competitive, non-judgmental and is actually built around the corner stone of community.
If you are a novice it might be worth thinking about starting one of the beginner courses that we offer once you have decided what yoga style you are drawn to and what you want to achieve. This will give you a good introduction and enable you to build some strong foundations for your yogic practice.
Yoga means something different to each person. It is rooted in oneness or returning to the Source. At Alchemy we support many styles of yoga that have emerged through history and understand that each has its own value and as such we strive to meet the students needs. There are many paths , but only one Truth. Yoga means union and it is the union of the individual's consciousness with the infinite consciousness. Come and practice with us, bring your true intention to transform yourself and realize your true potential.
